Pastor Karleen A. Jung

In June, we officially welcomed Pastor Karleen A. Jung to our community during a special Installation Worship service presided over by Bishop Jen Nagel. Pastor Karleen brings a wonderful spirit of faith and leadership to Vista Lutheran, and we are grateful for the ways we are already growing, serving, and worshipping together.

Austin is excited to join Vista as Choir Director, bringing his passion for music and ministry to the church community. He also leads the choral program at Lakeville North High School, serves as Chorusmaster for the Dakota Valley Symphony and Chorus, and previously directed the adult choir at First English Lutheran in Faribault. Outside of music, Austin enjoys outdoor adventures and sweet treats.

Landon Westerfield is the new Accompanist for Vista, joining on September 21. He holds a Doctor of Musical Arts in Performance and Literature from the University of Illinois, specializing in early French music. Landon brings extensive experience as a church musician, having served congregations in Kentucky and Illinois.

Outside of music, he works in real estate and finance, managing a diverse portfolio of properties across the Midwest, from historic hotels to modern high-rises. In his free time, Landon enjoys reading and spending time with his golden retriever, Poppy. Vista looks forward to the creativity, skill, and joy he will bring to worship and community life.
